In the video work Temptation, a woman dressed in lingerie caresses a piece of raw meat, toying with it across her body. This juxtaposition between the women's body and flesh, speaks to the societal norms and gendered expectations that relegate women to the status of mere objects to be consumed and devoured. Yet, this piece goes further to emphasize the woman's primal nature, as well as her ability to assert control over her own body and desires. In subverting the gaze away from the body and towards the grotesque, conventional notions of beauty and desirability are disrupted.
